OCULAR
CONDITIONS
Diabetic eye care and diabetic retinopathy prevention involve visiting an experienced ophthalmologist yearly and receiving annual visual examinations in order to detect early changes and implement prompt treatment.
Age-related macular degeneration causes blurriness, affecting your central vision.
Cataracts result in cloudy vision and are caused by age-related changes within the protein in the lens of the eye. These proteins degenerate and accumulate, causing images to appear blurry and less colourful.
Dry eye disease arises when tears do not sufficiently lubricate the eyes. The susceptibility to dry eye disease may increase with age and can often affect contact lens wearers. Allergic eye disease (allergic conjunctivitis) is inflammation of the eyes that results from an allergic reaction to substances such as pollen, pet dander, or mould.
There is no better way to thank God for your sight than by giving a helping hand to someone in the dark.

OCULAR
CONDITIONS
Keratoconus arises from a thinned-out cornea, the translucent, dome-shaped part of the eye. As a result, the cornea bulges outwardly, appearing more cone-like in structure. This causes significant vision impairment despite wearing glasses.
Glaucoma occurs when the fluid within the eye does not drain adequately, leading to a raised eye pressure, and can cause vision loss if untreated.
Floaters may appear as specks, black dots or flashes of light that can obscure one’s field of vision.
Paediatric ophthalmology focuses on diagnosing, preventing, and treating ocular illnesses that affect children's eye health, such as refractive errors.
